★ THE SHOP ★

Your local motorcycle shop since 1997.

Anacortes Iron has been part of the local riding community since 1997. Here, you work directly with Bill, the person working on your bike. Whether it’s regular maintenance or a problem you’ve been meaning to fix, he’ll talk through what it needs and answer your questions along the way.

From rides around Fidalgo Island to longer trips beyond the ferry, it starts with a bike you can count on. We welcome riders from Anacortes, Oak Harbor, La Conner, Mount Vernon and Burlington. Tell Bill what you ride and what you have in mind, and he’ll help you get ready for the road.

★ BEFORE YOU BRING IT IN ★

We’re happy to answer your questions.

New to the shop? Start here, then get in touch about your motorcycle.

What motorcycles should I contact you about?

Harley-Davidson is our main specialty, and we also service Indian and other motorcycles. Share the make, year and model when you reach out, especially for an older bike or one with previous modifications. Bill can discuss the work your bike needs.

Can I get help if I do not know what is wrong?

Yes. Start with what you hear, feel or see. Mention whether the issue happens cold, after the bike warms up, at a certain speed or only some of the time. You do not need to name a failed part.

What should I include in a service request?

Send your motorcycle’s year, model and mileage, a short description of the work and any recent service or modifications. Include a way to reach you and your preferred timing.

How much will the work cost?

The scope depends on the motorcycle, its condition and the parts involved. Contact Bill to discuss the job and how an estimate can be established. A repair estimate may start with an inspection of the motorcycle.

Do I need to arrange a visit first?

Contact Bill before bringing the motorcycle in. Confirm the work, timing and drop-off arrangements together. A service inquiry is the first conversation, not a confirmed appointment.

Can I ask about performance parts or customization?

Absolutely. Explain what you want to change and how you use the bike. Ask about compatibility, installation and any related adjustments. Specialized work and equipment availability should be discussed with Bill.
