Request serviceMAINTENANCE FOR YOUR MOTORCYCLE
Your service history matters. A daily rider, a weekend bike and a motorcycle coming out of storage may all need a different starting point.
Tell Bill what you ride, how it is used and when it was last serviced. Together, you can discuss the maintenance that makes sense for the bike.
COMMON MAINTENANCE
Maintenance needs vary by motorcycle, mileage and riding conditions. Talk with Bill about the right plan for your bike.
Discuss engine oil and filter service, along with primary and transmission fluids where applicable. The right products and service intervals depend on the model and its service requirements.
Use the schedule for your motorcycle as the starting point. Share the mileage and records so Bill can discuss what is due, what has already been handled and any gaps in the history.
Uneven wear, aging tires or a change in brake feel deserve attention. Ask about tire service, brake wear and fluid needs, plus any concerns you have noticed on the road.
A stiff control or a change in clutch feel can make familiar miles less comfortable. Discuss cables, control operation and belt or chain condition as applicable to your motorcycle.
A motorcycle that sits between rides can develop starting concerns. Mention slow cranking, battery age and storage habits so battery condition and connections can be considered.
Before a long ride or the first outing after storage, take stock of service history, tire condition, fluid levels and any unresolved concerns. Allow time to discuss needed work before your departure.
WHEN IS IT TIME?
Check the owner’s manual for your model’s maintenance schedule. Mileage, elapsed time, riding conditions and previous work all help shape the next service conversation.

MAINTENANCE QUESTIONS
Yes. Include the mileage, year and model in your inquiry. The maintenance schedule for that motorcycle and its past work help define the job.
Tell Bill how long it has been stored, whether it starts and what was done before storage. Arrange a conversation before planning to ride it to the shop.
